Overview

This program equips individuals with the foundations of personality and ability assessment (as set by the BPS), providing the knowledge and ​skills necessary to effectively administer and interpret the assessments related to occupational ability and personality.

The training aims to ​provide a comprehensive understanding of the assessment tools and their application in the workplace.

By the end of the training, participants ​will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to confidently and effectively use occupational ability and personality assessments in ​various talent management contexts.

They will be able to make informed decisions based on assessment results and contribute to the overall ​success of talent acquisition, development and management initiatives within their organizations.

Objectives

  • Comprehensive understanding: ​the training provides a comprehensive ​ understanding of the theoretical ​foundations and concepts related to ​occupational ability and personality ​assessments.​
  • Familiarisation with assessment tools: ​Participants become familiar with the ​specific assessment tools used in the ​training, including their purpose, ​structureand administration procedures.

  • Participants learn how to provide ​constructive feedback, highlight ​strengths and areas for development, ​and make recommendations based on ​assessment results.​
  • Ethical considerations: The training ​emphasizes ethical considerations, ​including confidentiality, diversity and ​inclusion, and adherence to ​professional standards.

Can you tell me about the level of support that will be available?

Once you are signed up and using our platform, you will gain access to The Lighthouse Manual which provides the admin with the necessary information to locate and navigate through the platform is self explanatory. We also have an online chat option, where the chatbot is available during working hours (8:00 am to 8:00 pm UAE from Sunday to Friday). Any candidate can message us while taking an assessment and solutions are provided by our experts.

Do you provide training for the Lighthouse platform?

In person and virtual training is available.

Can different people within the organization view different reports?

Yes, people can view different reports based on their level in the organizational hierarchy. Both managers and candidates can view reports depending on the level of access they have. Overall dashboards can also be accessed by top level management where they can even select and view reports for individual candidates.

What decisions can I take based on the analytics provided?

With the data collected via assessments and from clients Human Resource Information System (HRIS), our data team can perform various predictive analysis, which helps in identifying common patterns and themes. These predictions can help in making informed recommendations for Hiring, Retaining, Identfying High Potential Talent, Areas of Development and more.

What does the analytics dashboard look like?

How long does it take for the report to be available on the Lighthouse platform?

Reports are available on the platform as soon as the required assessments are completed.

Are the reports available in Arabic?

Mercer Talent Enterprise’s standard reports are available in both Arabic and English. Custom reports can be created in any language.

Do candidates see all the assigned assessments in one place?

Candidates will be able to see all the assigned assessments on the Lighthouse dashboard. It can also include assessments from third party publishers.

Does Lighthouse integrate with other assessment platforms?

Lighthouse offers one of the largest, contemporary assessment catalogues that seamlessly integrate into a single platform, including some of the world’s best assessments from leading test publishers like Hogan, Saville and Pearson.
